Please note that, due to construction, Atlanta Humane Society's Pet Grief Counseling has been temporarily suspended. Pet Grief Counseling will resume Saturday, December 12th. Thank you for your patience.
Grief counseling and a referral service for pet loss support are available through the AHS for those having to deal with the loss of a beloved pet. This program is called Mend-a-Heart, and is led by a professional counselor on the second Saturday of each month at the Shelter in the administrative area at 11:00 a.m. The cost is $5.00 and no appointment is necessary.
