Animal Receiving
The Animal Receiving Center is open to receive animals from 9am to 5pm 7 days a week (excluding recognized holidays). There is a $40 surrender fee for bringing an animal to the Shelter. This fee helps offset the enourmous cost of feeding, housing, and veterinary services we will provide to make your surrendered pet ready for adoption. You will be asked to present your valid Driver's License or State ID to release an animal. Please contact the Animal Receiving Center to make sure we are able to accept your animal. Please call 404.974.2800. We make no guarantee of being able to accept any animal.
