Behavior Counseling
The number of animals that are released to the Shelter each year because of behavioral problems is a staggering one, but many of these problems can be prevented and/or cured. The AHS Training & Behavior Department is committed to reducing the number of relinquished pets by offering behavioral support to animal owners through phone consultation, email, and our SmartHeart brochure series. We stress the importance of proper research before the acquisition of any new pet, but should behavior issues arise, please contact the Behavior Department at 404.974.2899, or email us at behavior@atlantahumane.org.
Remember, behavior assistance by phone or email is always free of charge (though donations are gladly accepted)! We want to help you solve your pet's behavior problem.
