AHS invites you to “SHOP to adopt”!

AHS offers you a way to indulge in everyone’s favorite pasttime and save the lives of our furry residents!

Atlanta (April 1, 2011) – Remember the old saying “Shop til you Drop”?  Well that is so YESTERDAY.  Today’s smart shoppers say “Shop to Adopt” instead!  AHS is making it easy for you to help our Society pets AND save money on your adoption!*  Participate in our new ‘Shop ‘N’ Adopt program and you can do both!  Purchase any item(s) off of our wish list, and with your receipt you can receive a discount worth DOUBLE the amount off your adoption. Go to our Shop 'N' Adopt wish list page to view items that our furry friends, staff and volunteers can use at the shelter.

Don’t feel like leaving the house to go shopping?  Are you more of an online shopper?  You can purchase anything on our wish list on www.amazon.com, and your gift will be mailed right to our shelter.  Then, at your convenience, bring in your receipt to receive your adoption discount!

Atlanta Humane Society is open seven days a week, from 11 AM – 7 PM Monday through Friday and 10 AM – 6 PM Saturdays and Sundays.  Atlanta Humane Society is located at 981 Howell Mill Rd., Atlanta, GA  30318

*All adopters must go through AHS standard adoption process before adopting an animal.
