Planned Giving
There are many ways to support the animals and the Atlanta Humane Society and SPCA.
A donor’s support of the animals can be now, can be designed for future gifts, and can be constructed to do both. Planned giving vehicles are available with a wide range of options which are flexible and tailored to reflect your area of interest. Giving options offer possible tax benefits accompanying each choice.
General Bequests
Your support of the animals can be never ending. Remembering the AHS in your Will with a bequest can provide care, protection and save lives after you are gone. The Society has a Bequest Club for individuals providing planned gifts for the AHS.

Endowment Program
The Society has an Endowment Program designed to assure the continuing support and care of the animals into the future and beyond our life span. Named gift opportunities are available. The Endowment Program consists of gifts that are restricted so that only the interest earned from the gift (capital) is used in support of the Shelter’s programs and services. The funds are invested and overseen by the AHS Board of Directors Investment Committee. This program allows your gift to be never ending.
The Atlanta Humane Society is recognized as a 501(c)(3) organization by the Internal Revenue Service. All contributions are tax deductible to the limit of the law.
