Seamus' Story
Hi,
I just wanted to share what I think is a success story.
My mother adopted a border collie from the Atlanta Humane Society in 1994. The dog's name was originally Cain but we changed it to Seamus. My mom died a little over two years after adopting Seamus so I inherited this wonderful dog. I had to say goodbye to my wonderful pet last Thursday. He lived to be 17 years and four months.
I am thankful for the six months that he had of care at the Humane Society and that his previous owner cared enough about him to give him to a no kill shelter. He had a wonderful and loving life with 5 cat brothers and sisters who loved him to death over the 15 years I had him.
I am attaching a picture of him taken a few years ago.
Thanks for what you do,
Amanda
