Parker's Success Story
Dear Atlanta Humane Society,
Here is Parker, formerly known as High Five the hound mix. I saw his picture online this July and I fell in love with this dogs absolutely adorable and unique face. I just had to have him. On July 3, 2010 I adopted High Five. He was such a sweet, loving, and calm dog to be 3 months old. I think he actually really enjoyed AHS! I went to get him and he was asleep on his back on top of all that comfy newspaper!! The man working with the dogs told me he was a very playful dog, and I think he was kind of sad to see High Five leave. When I took High Five home, he hardly even knew how to walk! He slept most of the time and didn't pay much attention to my other dogs. I was thinking that I had picked such a calm dog and I thought the man at the humane society was crazy for telling me how playful and energetic High Five was because I was not seeing any of that!
A couple of days later High Five became Parker and Parker came to life! He was the most playful and energetic dog I think I have ever seen. He is so happy when he is running around and playing with my other dogs! And I was so happy to have such a happy dog! The man also told me that High Five seemed like he was growing every day, and sure enough! He has been growing like a weed!
Parker can now sit, high five (of course), and lay down. He is a very very smart dog! He has been such a great addition to our family! I am so glad I adopted Parker and I try to encourage others to adopt too!!
