Minnie's Success Story
Dear Atlanta Humane Society,
Although it has only been a few short weeks since my husband and I adopted Minnie in April 2011, I had to send an email telling everyone her story. Minnie has been an amazing addition to our family and we feel so blessed to have her in our lives. I think the things she must love most about living in her new 16th floor apartment is being able to lounge around all day long on super comfy couches and going out to the local dog park to play with other dogs. Minnie doesn't waste her time with balls and sticks: she wants to chase small animals and be chased by other dogs. My husband and I have nicknamed her "Moo", since she would also be happy grazing in a large field all day eating grass. She hated car rides and elevators when she first came to our home, but now jumps in the car and skips onto the elevator just as happy as can be. And she knows where home is too! She loves running down the hallway to show my husband and me exactly which apartment we live in! Minnie has been a joy, and I am so happy she waited long enough for us to find her :-)
