Max's Success Story

adopt a pet in atlantaDear Atlanta Humane Society,

Max was adopted December 14, 2010 and used to be called Gaston. He was our first dog. We were both first time dog owners and we were nervous. Not only for ourselves but for the three cats at home that would live with this canine. We first saw Max and I wasn't sure about him. The first few weeks were rough for us. The change in our lifestyle was something we expected. Potty training and obedience lessons followed.

Around the hundred day mark, it all turned around. Max is awesome. He is a quiet dog that rarely barks. He gets along with all the cats. He knows how to sit, stay, down, come, and wait for his food. We plan on teaching him more tricks. He is so smart. He loves belly rubs and his daily walks. We're so glad we adopted him.

Thanks,
Rani
