Killian's Story
Dear Atlanta Humane Society,This is my Killian, (formerly Handshake)! Me and my partner adopted her in July of 2010, she was about 6-1/2 months old. She is the best dog I could ever ask for and more! We love to go on walks, swim and go to the dog park to meet new friends! Her favorite I think is swimming, she is so eager to please! I really think she is an old soul, so calm and relaxed. I used a crate in the first beginning stages of potty training, now she has full run of the house and sleeps on all the beds! I remember very clearly the first night she came home with us, she crawled very timidly on the couch with me, laid down on my chest and let out the biggest sigh of relief. I think she knew then she had nothing else to worry about from then on. She is spoiled rotten! Also, in the morning when we wake... yes she sleeps in bed with us... we have cuddle time which is her favorite. Such a cuddle bug! We just recently got back from the beach, she loved the ocean and camping!
I just wanted to give a big thanks to the Atlanta Humane Society for giving us the opportunity to give her the home that she deserves! She is truly a great addition to our family and can't wait to spend the rest of her life with me.
