Josie's Story

adopt a pet in atlantaDear Atlanta Humane Society,

My name is Josie (at the shelter they called me Cay) and I was adopted at the end of January 2011. My mom was volunteering at the shelter when she saw me and fell in love. My mom says I'm really smart-- I was house broken from the moment I moved in and loved my crate! I also know a few tricks, but more importantly, my moms says I have no behavioral problems! She says I have really come out of my shell since being adopted.

I love my forever family! Whenever I hear the garage door open, I run down the stairs and sit anxiously by the door to greet my family. I get really excited when everyone is home at the same time. I just can't sit still! I walk around to each person's room to check on them, lick them, and play with them. I also love playing in the backyard with all my toys! I especially love it when my mom chases me around the yard and I get to let all my energy out. It's really fun, but I get so tired afterward that I fall asleep! I also love rawhides, ice, sun bathing, sleeping, going on walks, runs, and meeting other dogs. I'm a little scared of sprinklers and balloons though.

Life is great! Thank you AHS for finding me a loving family who spoils me rotten!

Kind regards,

Becca Krygiel
